HPLC by Design - KNAUER Smartline

The result of more than 35 years of experience in designing and manufacturing HPLC systems, the Smartline series offers exceptional technical specifications in a modular small footprint design. The high precision solvent delivery system offers flow rates from 0.01 – 10.00 (50.0 ml/min with resp. pump head) for analytical and semi-preparative applications.
KNAUER eluent supply is well-known for its pulse-free flow, applying advanced electronic drive control, without the need for pulse dampeners, resulting in a an even baseline and extremely low dead volume. Smartline HPLC systems offer very precise quaternary gradient eluent supply.
Optionally the Systems can be equipped with a biocompatible flow path.

UV detection is the most popular detection principle. The Smartline HPLC systems can be combined with a wide range of different detectors e.g. UV/Vis diode array, refractive index (RI), fluorescence, conductivity, evaporative light scattering (ELSD), radioactivity.

For the highest level of automation, an autosampler can be used, accommodating up to 184 sample vials or 768 samples using well plates.

Smartline HPLC systems can be operated either stand-alone or completely controlled by software. The premium software ChromGate®, which is based on the well-known EZChrom kernel, provides GLP and FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliance and meets the demands of even the most challenging laboratories. KNAUER also offers a more economically prized software ClarityChrom.
